Winter is here. The steam is on the lake. I'm glad I'm inside.

North Shore Wind Storm

Oh my did the wind blow. Most power in the county has been restored. Stille Havet lost some trees(2 large pine trees and one big birch.) They fell in safe places so no-one or structures were hurt or damaged. We're thankful for that.

Fall colors

Fall Colors are peaking. Make a trip soon to enjoy the beauty of the North Shore of Lake Superior.

Well, today is August 16th and we may have just finished our summer. Low temps. tomorrow are expected to be only 48 to 53. Burrr. Fall can't be far behind.
